Our Story

Fiat Lux Rentals started as a side hustle while we were working full-time in the hospitality industry managing hotels, apartments, and more. Our team has worked in nearly all hospitality specialties including guest services and operations, sales and marketing, revenue management, finance and administration, human resources, property and asset management including maintenance, technology and systems, and a little bit of food and beverage sprinkled in there. After years of doing this work for others, we wanted something that was truly our own. Something where we could put our heart into every detail, try new ideas, and hopefully make a little extra money along the way.

It turns out we were pretty good at short term rentals too, and we loved having something that was ours. What began as a small side project quickly grew into a full-time venture. Today, we bring over 25 years of hospitality experience, nearly 10 years of Airbnb hosting, 34 consecutive Airbnb Superhost awards, and a 4.98 lifetime average rating into every property and every guest interaction.

In 2024, we heard about Airbnb’s Co-Host Network and thought it sounded interesting. In 2025, we decided to take the leap. We applied and were quickly accepted. That decision opened up an exciting new chapter, allowing us to help other property owners create successful short-term rentals and bring their own hosting dreams to life.

What truly drives us is the people. There’s nothing better than hearing guests tell us how much they loved their stay or that our place was their favorite out of all the rentals they’ve ever booked. Whether someone is traveling, working away from home, visiting loved ones, or exploring somewhere new, we find real joy in creating spaces that feel comfortable, welcoming, and memorable.

We don’t just have rentals. We share our hospitality and passion for customer service and operational excellence, and we’re grateful to do what we love every single day.
